Thanksgiving Gratitude Practices

This thanksgiving weekend come to Live Yoga and share the practice of gratitude.  Being grateful does not mean that we ignore the difficulties in our lives.  Living gratefully means we appreciate everything we have and can participate in our lives more fully.

Join us this Thanksgiving Sunday and Monday to participate in practices dedicated to all that brings us joy and health in our lives!

Breathe and re-connect to your mind and body this Thanksgiving in these delicious drop in classes:

Sunday Luna @ 10:45 am              Odd as it may seem often our challenges are often our gifts.  This gentle class will focus on appreciating all that is available to us as individuals while working to release tension in the hips and back.  Expect to experience mindfulness in movement, a tension releasing meditation and a very relaxing savasana.

Sunday Restorative @6:00 pm  Practice will start with gentle pranayama (breathwork) intended to settle the mind and reconnect with the body and mind.  We will move slowly through gentle and long held postures which will be intertwined with gentle, non-strenuous movement.  The intention of gratitude will permeate each asana and a long savasana will give each student the time to appreciate the beauty in their lives.   

Monday Hatha at 9:00 am            This all-level Hatha practice will start with an exercise in grateful mindfulness through Pranayama.  We will gradually build movement and heat as we move consciously through postures, matching movement to breath.  Expect to share the experience of movement, gratitude and perhaps a wee bit of sweat with this amazingand welcoming group of yogis.  The long savasana is a given!
